Increase employee engagement and willingness to learn. Reduce overhead costs associated with in-person training.
The Remote Training Server is a special instance of MarineLMS that runs on a pre-configured, vessel-based computer. It provides full on-board training and assessment for use in disconnected or poorly connected environments. These servers synchronize to the central LMS on land when connectivity is available. A highly advanced synchronization technology called Deep Synchronization is used to keep essentially all of the LMS data synchronized between shore and all vessels.
When internet connectivity is possible, the RTS uses Deep Synchronization to:
1. Receive updates to training materials, new courses, user accounts, site updates, etc.
2. Send finely tuned training records and analytics back to the central LMS.
